Re: asdFor starters, it's almost a total consensus that the first two weezer albums are leaps and bounds above the new-era albums. And when it comes down to the "best" weezer album, it's split almost evenly between Blue and Pinkerton.
Blue has the perfect power-pop sound and charm with great catchy songs and is the album that "gets" most of the fans first.
Pinkerton, which came 2 years after Blue, is a very raw emotional album with a lot of self-deprecation and depression, and usually those who pick Pink as their favorite (including myself) do so because of its genuine sadness and the powerful feelings it evokes.
