Yeah I was wondering about that too. No doubt will be a little different...
Can't wait for Sept 30 in Toronto! My wife and I are celebrating our anniversary seeing weezer - how cool is that?!
Yeah all of the pics so far have been pretty neat. I don't really want to know the setlist cuz I like it to be a surprise ya know??? OH!!! I bought my purple =w= shirt!!! wooo HOO!!! That would be so awesome to win a backstage tour. I'm taking one of my best friends to her 1st =w= show in OCT wooo hooo!!!!!
I was there and the show was amazing. I am pretty sure those who like the red album will be happy. I have not heard that album yet, and was happy with the rest of the song choices. Creep was cool to see them do, but after watching Prince perform it at Coachella this year, it was just average for me. Fans will not be dissapointed by the setlist.
I'm a member of the hootenanny held in the Yoyogi gymnasium.
I wish to express my gratitude for performing with you and singing.
I was able to spend dream like time thanks to you.
I'm forever grateful to Weezer.
Thanks Rivers!
Thanks Brian!
Thanks Patrick!
Thanks Scott!
Thanks Weezer!!!!
What is the deal with the new weezer store? You want $35 bucks for a freaking t-shirt!? Are you insane? That's half the price of your concert tickets, which are also insanely high this tour. Come on already, help out your fans and make your merchandise and tickets more affordable so people can actually buy them.
Here's a partial set list: http://jasoncollin.org/2008/09/18/weezer-live-in-yoyogi-tokyo-japan-2008/
It seems to be a little different from the previous 4 shows. I would like to know what the "gargabe" and "average" songs are...
I love how collectively poor the weezer fan base is. all i have heard since the new attire came out is about how expensive it is. i could not agree more, i just find it amusing that it is the main topic of discussion. we all really just play in to the 'weezer stereotype.' which is a good thing. WEEZ ON! and here's to cheaper t's on tour!
For those of us broke enough to need a contest to get a hold of Weezer tix [i.e. me included] its still a price most of us can't afford. I guess I could understand if the profits were going to charity or set aside for improving the local community of each venue. But really now, thats sadly not happening.
I propose that Weezer colab with radio station assistance
to award the tickets {and maybe even good ones at that}
To the person with the most creative tribute to Weezer. Just a thought. : )
