Yeah I know I said it. So I pre-ordered before I knew there was a password, and then found out later. Did they display it in iTunes after you buy, cause I closed mine down without seeing it, or do they email it to you. I hope they email it for us stupid people who don't know how to operate their computers. Anyone know? The Indominatable Insurectionist

I haven't received it yet either, so they might not be ready to send them out yet. We've certainly got time, and with no dates announced, they may wait to avoid the confusion of sending passwords to people that can't be used yet. Also iTunes is obviously partnering with Ticketmaster on this, so the email may very well come from them and not Apple. Be sure to check your junk/spam folder as Ticketmaster sends a lot of junk (at least to my account!).

i'll pre-order this one and buy the deluxe edition in stores so i have both. then i'll probably give up the regular edition. it's all for the b-side on vinyl. i have a feeling that the itunes bonus tracks will be b-sides on the second single or a cd version of pork and beans, just like the foo fighters did with their itunes bonus tracks.

every time weezer puts out a new album us crazy fans have to try to find the imports or deluxes... WHY NOT PUT ALL OF THE SONGS ON EVERY COPY OF THE FREAKING ALBUM???? If we're gonna buy it - we're obviously fans, right? I refuse to shell out more money for the things that should already be included. If japans release has bonus tracks again - i'm boycotting - we're all united for the weez - and we all deserve access to the songs

This is unfortunately a standard practice among bands. I remember in the mid 90s Pearl Jam would do the same thing. Eventually, they released "Lost Dogs", which had all the b-sides and import stuff. I'm anxiously awaiting that for weezer myself, as it was a bitch and a half to find "I Just Threw Out The Love of My Dreams".

What if I want to get the Red Album on vinyl? Given recent record sales (that is, vinyl up, CD down) I'm sure it will be releasaed on vinyl. Is there any way I can get both the 12" LP and the 7" single without haveing to order the CD? Thanks.
