AHHHH.

pork and beans is awesome. i thought weezer kind of lost it's touch with make believe, but i think this album will be amazing.

WOW

Amazing... I am really liking this. Pork and Beans rocks my world. I can't wait to hear the rest of the album!

...mmm.

I'm totally diggin' everything. I hate to sound like a nagging, obnoxious fan, but come to Tennessee, my fellow gentlemen.

love

wtf

well my comment got deleted from earlier today when the site format changed. I guess im the only one sick of heareing generic pop rock, because people seem to love Pork and Beans. You win Rick Rubin, i guess once you become one of the five producers working with americas popular artists today you get to tell people whats good and whats not. Thank you for single handedly ruining my two favorite bands of the past 10 years. I just thank god you will never touch bands the likes of Ozma and Built To Spill.

The Red Album

The Red Album, that just has a nice ring to it! I've waited for this to come out for a long time, and I like what I'm hearing (P&B). It's not as poppy as some people are saying, but the chord progressions are intriguing, and the overall sound is very crunchy, like the Blue Album. At the same time, Rogaine was never mentioned in the Blue Album, and it has a distinct sound different from any other =w= album. Keep up the good work guys, see you in Houston/Austin/Dallas for the tour!

I missed the last time =w= came to fresno, so please please include fresno in the next tour!

Pork and Beans

I heard it last night on 103.1 R&R in Baltimore. It just so happened that I had to drive to the store to get some Toilet paper and it just so happened that I had that station on as they just so happened to play that song. The format reminds me of Blue so much. Its awesome!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to hear more (and hear pork and beans again). Your Fan, -Daniel C-W

sweet song

Pork and Beans is so awesome; a great pick for a single. I cannot wait to hear the rest of the album. See you on tour!

Guitar Solo?

Seriously guys, you were one of the last mainstream bands left who played solos. Ya broke my heart. I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY :'(
King Smoke

ya

ya a guitar solo would have been tight but oh well, im sure they have some nice solos on the new album

Solos

Ya, since "Butterfly" I think that's the last song without a solo. Rivers has even been quoted saying that the solo just always goes after the second chorus, that's just where it goes! Too, bad, but let's just wait and see what the rest of the album has to hold!

ehh.. its ok.

Pork and Beans is ok. Shows some promise. I grew up on the blue album and pinkerton. Those albums were easy to latch onto because of their youthful topics, and energetic poppy sound. That kind of association is hard to top. Not much has excited me about Weezer since the era leading up to the green album. But I have not written weezer off by any means. The breaking news of a 3rd self-titled weezer album, rumored as "the red" album, peaked my interest enough to check out the site, the new track and I will keep watch for more tracks.

well

At least some one agrees with me. And i still love weezer too, and im hoping the rest of the cd is nothing like this tho or this is going to follow a slippery slope of self-titled albums being dumbed down in hopes of making those 2 and a half minutes of solid bull. Look at it this way, the message in the song is not bad, but its bassicly saying i wont conform for you when thats almost exactly what this song does. Also what happend to my long non-traditional songs i was promised? I know its the lead single and all but this doesnt seem to fit on a cd with songs like that, and a weezer record is something thats normally a cohesive piece of work. I havent completely lost faith yet, but its quickly depleating with every listen of this song. I beg of you, if this is what is to come, then please re-record My Brain and Pig and throw it on there. Just so i can sleep at night.
