2010/07/22 St.John's, Newfoundland And Labrador, Canada: Mile One Centre
...We rolled into the charming city of St. John's two days ago and settled into some R+R mixed with catching up on work. People said this was a friendly city and they weren't kidding! That combined with the picturesque harbor views, dynamite fish and chips, and the sightseeing ranging from rugged coastlines to whale watching has made for a great time so far. The good times are scheduled to continue this evening at the Mile One Centre, where the first ever Weezer St. John's rock show is going down. More later....

Another first tonight, with the St. John's fans finally getting their sip of the Weez live rock extravaganza, and holy cow, were they ever ready for it! Tonight is best described as an outstanding turbulent collision between the crowd's pent up energy and the bands sonic and visual assault. It was a real delight to finally bring weezer to this much-deserving corner of Canada, and the St. Johns peeps showed they know how to rock hard. Thank you Newfoundland, for your 1.5 hour time change, your whales, your Screech, your rugged terrain, your town called Dildo, your stellar fish and chips, and most of all for your friendship.

I've been a fan since Blue; Weezer is the Greatest Band That Ever Lived! A truly fantastic show, thank you so much for coming to St. John's! Saw you in Toronto, but this concert was even better, I think you really connected with the crowd! Come again, any time, the door is always open!

Thanks for coming to Newfoundland Weezer. The concert was absolutely amazing and I had a blast. I literally sang along with every song! I loved how you guys integrated songs from all of your albums, it was great. It was the best concert I have ever been to, and hopefully I can go to another Weezer concert sometime in the near future and hopefully you guys will come back to Newfoundland! Thanks again!

Mother of god, I'm still stunned by how amazing the concert was. I pretty much can't think of anything else. I didn't (couldn't) stop smiling and dancing the whole time. And it goes without saying that the cover you did was brilliant. I'm so glad you all had a good time here! Hopefully you come back to St.Johns sometime! BUT, I have to admit I'm a bit sad by the fact that I didn't get to meet any of you in person (who isn't though?) and that you didn't play 'The Greatest Man That Ever Lived' hahaha, but hey it was an incredible night that I will never forget. Super awesome show... super friendly crowd... lost my shoe crowd surfing and found it about 30 seconds after the concert ended in good condition :) Thank you Weezer!
Ah-mazing
I couldn't possibly describe how amazing it was for me that you guys came here to Newfoundland. First of all it was unexpected. Big acts rarely come here, and when they do it's not usually my kinda thing, let alone one of my favorite bands. The setlist was excellent, the energy was infectious, and the crowd ate it up. Seriously - come back any time. You're more than welcome, and you'll get another $75 from me easily. Thanks again, it meant a lot.

Most Amazing Show Ever!!!!!
Last nights concert was the most amazing concert I have ever been to! My first Weezer concert and it took all my expectations and completely blown them out of the water!!! I knew it'd be amazing but.... WOW!!! It was so awesome during Hash Pipe when I started to headbang and Rivers pointed at me! And when Scott would come over in front of me and my friends and started rockin out on his bass!!!

Greatest Convert Ever in St. John's
This may sound like hyperbole but believe me it is just straight honesty... tonight, July 22, 2010, Weezer gave the best live rock performance ever given in the City of St. John's. I have always loved the band, but even more so now given how hard they played and how into the event every member was throughout the show. Tonight was truly off the charts!!!! The guys are truly men of the people, especially Rivers, who gave many people lifelong memories by going into the crowd. Thank you for an extraordinary experience, and please, for the love of God, come back SOON!!!!!!! Long live WEEZER!!!!!!!!!!
